I am back to playing volleyball again, it is a lot of hard work but I hope it will pay off. I am really sore and it hurts to move but that just means I am making progress.
Things have been a little tough lately, and my spirits have just been a little down. It can just be hard readjusting to things sometimes. But I just keep going on in hopes of brighter days. That's all we can do right? :) Thank you for your prayers and support and for following my blog!
Rachel
You are awesome.
ReplyDeleteRachel, I just wanted to say you are beautiful. I love reading your blog, especially because it is what you are feeling. Someone emailed me a link to your blog, and I am grateful they did. I have a 3 year old diagnosed with AML in April of this year. Thank you for recording your story. Also the hope kids, my parents live across the street from the Oldhams, I have met them a few times, they are amazing people. I am so glad you get to benefit from all they do. What a small world this is, isn't it.

Rachel you are the BEST!! I'm sorry you are feeling kind mehh but sunshine and fun are just ahead... like your pool party in June. You better start planning that! Love you
ReplyDeleteRachel - I was going through some pictures today and looked through some of you and Alisha at girl scouts. That was so long ago, and the two of you were so cute! You've outgrown the cute, now you are both beautiful. I feel old...
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Psst... we need to go to lunch, the four of us. Or six, if we want to invite the college girls.
ReplyDeleteyes. invite the college girls.
ReplyDeleteRacheee!!!! We love you! Its great to see your hard work and determination! We pray for you all the time :) MUAH!
ReplyDeleteYes it's all we can do sometimes, but we don't all always do it. I am so proud of you! I am proud to say I know you!
ReplyDeleteRachel- It is never easy to try to do something you used to do and deal with the differences in how our body does or does not react! It is emotional and frustrating. Take time to realize how much your body and mind have gone through and then realize you will be as strong, actually stronger, than you were before. It is hard to have the patience but you can do it and remember you have so many cheering you on! You are loved, admired, and thought of often. I pray for your strength to return and for you to be happy and healthy as time permits! Best wishes to you and all of your family!!
ReplyDeleteAlways,
